Prof. Michael Kleinaltenkamp

Michael Kleinaltenkamp is a Professor Emeritus at the Marketing Department of Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, where he was a Professor of Business and Services Marketing and the director of the “Executive Master of Business Marketing” program from 1992 to 2020. In November 2013, Professor Kleinaltenkamp was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Rostock, Germany.

His work focusses on value in business markets, solution business, and marketing theory and has been published among others in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Service Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Service Management, Journal of Service Theory and Practice, and Marketing Theory.

Prof. Ogechi Adeola

Ogechi Adeola is an Associate Professor of Marketing and the Head of Department of Operations, Marketing and Information Systems at the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria. She is a 2016 Visiting International Fellow, Open University Business School, UK, a 2017 Paul R. Lawrence Fellow, USA, and a Series Editor of the Palgrave Series on Marketing in Emerging Economies. Her multi-dimensional research focuses on the advancement of knowledge across the intersection of marketing, tourism, and gender studies, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. Her research has been published in top-rated journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, International Marketing Review, Psychology and Marketing, Tourism Management and Annals of Tourism Research. Her co-authored articles won Best Paper Awards at international conferences for four consecutive years (2016 – 2019). She co-authored the 2021 book, Business-to-Business Marketing: How to Understand and Succeed in Business Marketing in an Emerging Africa, published by Routledge.

Prof. Christian Kowalkowski

Christian Kowalkowski is Professor of Industrial Marketing at Linköping University in Sweden and Research Fellow at Hanken School of Economics in Finland. He has established himself as a leading scholar in the field of service strategy and implementation and is a frequent presenter at academic and industry conferences.

Professor Kowalkowski’s work focusses on service growth strategies, solutions marketing, service innovation, and subscription business models and has been published among others in the Journal of Service Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing, and Journal of Service Management. He serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Service Management and Journal of Services Marketing, Advisory Board Member of Industrial Marketing Management, and is on the review boards of the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Journal of Service Research, and Journal of Service Theory and Practice.
